What should be America's breastfeeding resolution in 2012?

I've been pretty vocal about breastfeeding in public lately. It is, without a doubt, something that should be universally accepted because breastfeeding in public is nothing to be ashamed of. The topic has become national news recently with public figures such as Kasey Kahne drawing disdain for tweeting his disgust at a woman breastfeeding in a grocery store.

All the buzz has led me to an important conclusion. With the new year upon us, it's time that America makes this its 2012 resolution: Stop condemning women for breastfeeding in public. I contributed an article to The Huffington Post to state my position on just this.

Breastfeeding is healthy, natural, and provides numerous benefits to moms and babies. There's no reason for women to feel they must be doing it behind closed doors.
