| HEALTHY BABY BAG: Ships one millionth during National Breastfeeding Month 2012 |
That is why we support the Healthy Baby Bag program -- a breastfeeding goodie bag created by Cottonwood Kids. And while we're only a few days into National Breastfeeding Month 2012, Cottonwood Kids will be shipping out its one millionth Healthy Baby Bag this month!
In case you're unfamiliar, the Healthy Baby Bag offers breastfeeding-friendly product samples and support information for new moms. This way, moms receive breastfeeding support right from the get-go during their hospital stay.
Formula goodie bags that new moms receive in hospitals have been making quite a stir in the media recently. Formula freebies have been discontinued in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. New York City is also planning to ban formula freebies in hospitals.
So it makes sense to us that the Healthy Baby Bag continues to grow in popularity. If you want to know if a hospital in your area offers these breastfeeding goodies, check out the list of hospitals that now offer the Healthy Baby Bag -- which is currently 600 strong and growing!
