Your diet is so important, it not only keeps you going but helps your body maximize milk production – which keeps your milk flowing, and key to maintaining breastfeeding success during busy times. However, one of our favorite tips for boosting your milk supply is eating yummy oatmeal and other foods rich in grains and vitamins.

So you may be thinking – UGHHH, oatmeal?? – how many bowls can I stand of it per day? The good news is, there are so many ways to use oatmeal beyond just the average bowl. In fact,
Boobfood.com came out earlier this year with a great oatmeal
recipe for lactation cookies that is worth checking out.
But beyond cookies, there is still plenty of room to get creative in the kitchen with oatmeal! We found some wild and wonderful recipes online that use oatmeal in various inventive ways, which may help you look at oatmeal a whole new way and integrate is into more of your daily diet.

For something savory, my grandfather would add an egg yolk and some soysauce to his oatmeal. If he was in the mood for something sweet, he would add condensed milk.
